Write & Improve draws on 20 years of research into the written production of EFL learners in Cambridge English exams to create an easy-to-use, low-stakes, friendly, online environment that encourages students to practise, reflect on, revise and improve their writing.
About Write & Improve
It is designed to support teachers in the classroom, creating lessons, setting homework and encouraging individual study. A tutoring system for use by learners, Write & Improve offers feedback at three levels, framed in a supportive, encouraging environment:
Overall assessment of writing competence by assigning a proficiency level on the CEFR scale, allowing learners to benchmark their progress.
A qualitative assessment of each individual sentence, making the learner aware of areas that might need attention.
Diagnostic feedback on word-level issues including spelling, grammar and vocabulary.
